Cast iron single mouth V-frame is mainly used for heavy industry inspection of larger shaft workpieces. The advantage is that it has a relatively high load-bearing capacity, and slight bumps do not affect its normal use. The disadvantage is that the accuracy of large single mouth V-frames is relatively low.

Granite single mouth V-shaped frame is mainly used for industrial inspection or supporting workpieces. Its advantages are non-magnetic, plastic deformation free, rust free, and flexible. The disadvantage is that the material is too brittle and afraid of collision.

Steel single mouth V-shaped frames are generally equipped with clamping plates for fixing workpieces, which have a wide range of applications and are mainly used to detect smaller shaft workpieces. The advantages are high strength and easy to use, but the disadvantage is that the produced specifications are small and cannot detect larger shaft workpieces.

Classified by structure

Single port V-frame can be divided into single port V-frame and single port V-iron according to their structure. In fact, there is no essential difference between single port V-frame and single port V-iron, except for different names in different regions. In some places, they are also called V-blocks. Their functions are the same, with only slight differences in structure.

Single mouth V-type iron: generally a standard component with smaller specifications, its shape is a solid cast iron block with a circular hole in the middle that can be easily grasped and moved. If the specification is too large, its own weight is too high, and the cost is relatively high, but its load-bearing capacity is large.

Single port V-frame: Generally, it is a hollow casting with reinforced ribs designed according to specifications. Most single port V-frames are designed according to customer requirements, so they have strong targeting for the tested workpiece. Their advantages are light weight and low cost.
